Martyrdom Is A Media, IRGC Quds Force Chief Says
Brigadier General Esmail Qaani made the remark while addressing an event held in Tehran on Monday to commemorate the media martyrs of the axis of resistance.
He added that martyrdom is a firm movement on the right path and martyrs have proven to be the true followers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The senior commander described the martyrs of the resistance media as having a special status because they have both done Jihad and promoted the culture of resistance.
The martyrs of the resistance media have managed to portray the beauties of the resistance from, he stated.
Referring to the event of Karbala, Brigadier General Qaani said it was the greatest human epic whose events were registered in history by Hazrat Zaynab (SA) and Imam Sajjad (AS).
Talking about and promoting the culture of martyrdom by the media is indeed following the same path, he stated.
He also referred to the enemies’ use of the media against the Muslim world, and said the resistance front must develop its capacities in this field.
The first memorial for martyrs of the resistance media was held at the IRIB International Conference Hall here in the Iranian capital on Monday.
It was attended by some 230 family members of resistance media martyrs from Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Palestine and Lebanon.
